IFRC capitalizes on its network of National Societies and volunteers to scale up innovative and effective community-based/led disaster risk reduction and climate action programmes, building on three decades of extensive experience in disaster and climate risk management and its unique mandate as auxiliary to governments.

As one of CADRI’s Technical Partners, IFRC deploys specialized expertise to support CADRI work at global, regional and country level. IFRC, together with UNFPA, led the integration of gender equity and the Leaving No One Behind principles in the CADRI Capacity Diagnosis and Planning modules.
